Out of a highly competitive field of Swiss startups, we are honored to be recognized by one of Switzerland’s most prestigious startup prizes.

Renewable energy is booming, but its intermittency remains one of the biggest hurdles of the energy transition. At Iron Energy, we are solving this by building safe, seasonal, long-duration energy storage using a simple, abundant element: iron. By storing hydrogen in iron, we can capture summer surplus electricity and discharge it exactly when the grid needs it most.
