Huge news for the future of energy storage! 🌍🔋
At Iron Energy AG, we are thrilled to announce that we have officially kicked off our Innosuisse project, marking a massive milestone in our journey to decarbonize the energy system.
🚀 Scaling Up by 10x
We are taking our iron-based seasonal energy storage technology to the next level. Through this project, we are building a 20 MWh demonstrator - a 10x scale-up that will prove our solution is not just visionary, but safe, scalable, and cost-effective for long-duration needs.
🏗️ Roadmap to Reality
The countdown is on. We are proud to confirm that this demo plant will be:
Constructed in Switzerland 🇨🇭
Targeted for deployment across the DACH region
Built by the end of Q3 with operations starting in Q3 of this year.

The shift to renewables requires storage that can last for months, not just hours. This Innosuisse (SIP) funding is a critical catalyst for us. It allows us to:
