Welcome Til Haumann

🎉 Welcome to the team, Til!

We're thrilled to welcome Til Haumann to Iron Energy AG as our new Project Engineer, joining us this September to help drive forward our large-scale, long-duration energy storage technology based on iron.

Til brings a strong background in chemical engineering and process modeling. He holds a MSc in Chemistry from Technische Universität Darmstadt, having spent his final academic year at ETH Zurich — in the very same lab where Iron Energy's technology was developed. There, he developed a process simulation of the Steam-Iron process, including a parameter and sensitivity study, and later built a 4 kg fixed-bed reactor setup, replicating it in COMSOL to validate the model. He also gained hands-on experience in process development at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, as well as research experience in materials synthesis.

With this expertise, Til is a great addition to our engineering team.
